Gore Hill Maintenance Update

In March 2010, the Minister for Lands, Tony Kelly, granted a Licence to the Catholic Cemeteries Board to undertake improvements and maintenance of the Gore Hill Memorial Cemetery. 

As part of this programme, Phase 1 has now been completed and the results speak for themselves. Further work is planned to be completed before Canonization of Blessed Mary, MacKillop and includes improved security and enhancements to the original grave of Mary Mackillop which will provide better access and support for increased pilgrimages.
